The table gives all the birds (more than 400 species) that I could find reported to be observed (seen, heard, caught) by experienced observers in the Brownsberg nature reserve in Suriname. The number indicates the number of times an observer made a report that was processed into my database (maximum: 172 for the Screaming piha). More birds seen at the same day are counted as one observation for this table. As the nature park is more then only the top of the Brownsberg, some birds figure in this list that are only known from low elevations, for instance near the van Blommenstein lake (herons), or birds that are only reported as flying over the Brownsberg, like the Black vulture or the Woodstork.
