The table gives all the birds that I could find reported to be
observed (seen, heard, caught) in the immediate surroundings of
the Warappakreek, between Bakkie (Reijnsdorp) and the coast. It
is a small area north of the Commewijne River. The site has two
bird observation cabins. The pictures of the Scarlet ibis along
the Warappakreek at 06.30 h and of the bird observation cabin
were made by Bas Spek.
All birds of one species seen on the same day are counted as one
observation. The list was made by J.H. Ribot, with the help of
many birders. Most birds in the table have a link to a page on
this site with photo.
